Rewards Cycle # 109

Fast Pool

We received 1.75837999 BTC as stacking rewards.

Payout in STX and BTC

The BTC rewards were split proportionally to pool members registered for rewards in STX, the default, and for rewards in BTC. For cycle #109, we used

Total Rewards

We distributed a total of 151,309.363150 STX to 830 pool members based on a total amount of 47,681,323.604807 stacked STX.

We distributed a total of 0.32419129 BTC to 1 pool member based on 11,482,001.000000 stacked STX.

This corresponds to 187,745.731789 STX rewards or 0.32% of the total 59,163,324.604807 stacked STX.

We consolidated the rewards address continuously and transferred a total of 1.75537355 BTC to the proxy address.

We distributed 0.32419129 BTC to pool members who registered for BTC rewards and 0.08791900 BTC to the Fast Pool reserve (fees for all pool members).

Compensation as Stacks Signer after Nakamoto Release (5.3% reserve)

For cycle #109, we transferred 0.087919 BTC from BTC distribution to the reserve (see above). The total corresponds to 9,911.950395 STX or around 5.3% of the theoretical total STX rewards after converting BTC to STX at the exchange rate of 887 sats/stx (134325023 sats / 151,309.363574 STX).

With 5.3% the fees were higher than the usual 4.7%. When we distributed rewards, our standard Stacks node had a failure and we used our fallback node that used an older script for the calculations. For the next cycle, we will reduce the fees to compensate for this.
